I resolved this problem by inserting a back frame available on Amazon Japan (I will upload a video about it soon). 👉🏻www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B009KG753K?th=1
When I tried inserting the frame from Vaucluse, it made the pressure on my back worse🤔 I hope this information is helpful😉

Thank you! I have the exact same issue. Ordered a small based on my 19” measurement and a few other recommendations to downsize. My fitting is just like yours and I’m sad I won’t be able to take the pack on my 6 day trip this week. I’ll be returning it for a medium once I get back. Was the exchange process easy with Zpacks?

It's unfortunate that you couldn't use it on the hike you were looking forward to😔 As I've mentioned in other videos (e.g. ruclips.net/video/tiLd8b7YuOI/видео.html), when I switched to size M, the back length adjustment buckles started to hit my shoulder blades🥲 I hope the M size works for you🤞🏻
As for the return process, I did have a few exchanges with customer service, but everything went smoothly without any issues👍🏻 However, since I live in Japan, I had to create an international shipping label and cover the extra cost of international shipping😓 But that was on my side, and I have no complaints about Zpacks covering the cost of shipping the replacement back to Japan😉

こちらのシリーズはパット外付けですか？
やはり一番機能としてまた長時間背負う場合の快適性で一番大事な要素になっているショルダーのデザインソザイ厚みかと思われますが今回はどうでしょうか？

このバックパックは、背中が蒸れないように背面にメッシュが張ってあり、パッドを外付けできるような仕様ではありません🙂
ショルダーストラップはボディと同じウルトラという素材で、肌に触れる面は一般的なメッシュ仕様です。
LiteAFのものに比べるとややパッドが薄めなので心配していたのですが、先日テストしてみて杞憂に終わりました👍🏻
重量があまり肩に乗らず、効果的に腰に荷重されるがゆえに、ショルダーストラップがやや薄めなのだと思います🤔
